As representatives of your coven, you and others gather around an ancient sacred stone with unknown powerful magical forces. Each player occupies one of four towers around the Witchstone and begins to influence the game board from there. Create your magic spells using your cauldron, and create a web of magical energy around the stone. Send out your witches, take magic crystals from the cauldron, utilize the pentagram, the magic staff, and keep an eye on prophetic writings to ensure victory.

Win Witchstone by accumulating the most victory points over 11 rounds by wisely utilizing your opportunities. Each player has a personal cauldron with seven crystals and six pre-printed magic icons and shares a larger game board with a crystal ball that shows the entire landscape. You have 15 dominoes, where each half of the domino shows a hexagon with a magic icon.

On each turn, place one of the five face-up dominoes from your reserve onto your cauldron, then take the action associated with each icon on that domino. Connect your starting tower to other locations on the game board, place witches, collect points around the pentagram, move crystals in your cauldron, take bonus actions using a magic staff, and collect writings that grant bonus points. The game ends after 11 rounds when players count their points from prophecies and other accumulated points to see who has the highest score.
